Greetings and welcome to Spirit, Mind, Matter! My name is Michelle and I’m just another 30-something learning to navigate the trials of life by using mindfulness practice, yoga, and meditation.
It all started back in 2008 when I was running with dear friends on the beach. I was sharing the latest installment of my father’s long battle with alcoholism. I was drained, exhausted, and approaching hopeless. Then it hit me, I had a choice. I could chose to let this situation rob me of my happiness and joy, or I could learn to experience happiness and joy in spite of the situation. What I share on this blog are my personal experiences with mindfulness and meditation practices in hopes that by sharing my journey, you may be inspired to discover yours.
